What we keep.

As little as possible. Infinite Search Space is a hobby site for puzzle contests, and it only stores what the contests need.

When you sign in

You sign in with Google, GitHub or Discord. That service tells us a user ID number, and that's all we keep from it. We don't store your email address, your real name, your photo or your password, and we never post anything on your behalf.

What we store

• Your leaderboard name, which you choose and which is shown publicly.
• The ID number from each sign-in service you link, so we recognise you next time.
• Your submissions: the answers you send, their scores and when you sent them. Scores and leaderboard positions are public; the answers themselves are not published while a contest is running.
• A sign-in cookie, so you stay signed in for 30 days. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

Who sees it

We don't sell or share your data. The site runs on Cloudflare, which hosts the pages and the database.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from your account page. That removes your name, your sign-in links and all your submissions straight away.
